introducing the incubator project

hi! i'm ben phillips, and i've created a series of 14 writing ideas for 14 days.

i've called it the incubator project, it is creativity in isolation.

i made it as a creative outlet for people in lockdown, but there aren't really any rules.

you can check out the creative prompts here. feel free to dip in and out, and think outside the box. you could write about the crisis, or you might want to be creative. you can write in any medium (so far we've had diaries, plays, poems and even a song!)

the only important thing is that we don't stop creating, even as the arts industry is forced to shut down. i created incubator because of the collapse of the arts industry that we are currently witnessing, as i believe that keeping creative development alive right now is really all we can do

my hope is that, after this is all over, we can turn incubator into something bigger, and the gallery is the first stage: a place to share the brilliant work that has come in so far!
